Internet Now “Most Essential Medium” for Americans

The Internet has surpassed TV and radio as the most essential medium for Americans, a new study finds, and roughly as many people would choose to live without TV as the Internet if forced to choose. Given the usage metrics reported in the rest of the study, it’s no wonder. Here are highlights of its findings.

Video: Brazilian Ants Protest an Insecticide

With 17,396 views on YouTube since it was posted eight days ago, this Brazilian video may have what it takes to “go viral.” Real ants actually carry protest “signs” against an insecticide. As the description says, “Real ants, real cardboards, a real motive: a protest against Baygon.”

The contest will give away $10,000 in grands funded by the Case Foundation to the best video of the year in the YouTube NonProfit Program – a special program that YouTube designed to help nonprofits achieve their missions.

I stumbled across Nomadsland, a video sharing solution that lets users incorporate added functionality for their favorite video platform. The tool allows your nonprofit to add an extra iframe (see below) to your embedded videos that gives users more options of sharing the video to multiple sites, learning about your 0rganization or even donating.

(Climate Change) How it All Ends

Let’s say you agree with the conspiracy theorists and think that scientists have been making up environmental data for years to scare the public into action. We’re going to cast aside the fact that thousands of scientists agree that climate change is a man made issue and work on the premise that it could be a hoax. Even if on the small chance it’s fake, it is still more practical to do something about the environment today.
