The Green Market has assembled a great list of some of the funniest and innovative videos produced for the environment movement.



One of my favorites is a Steven Colbert piece where he makes fun of climate change deniers who claim that Washington’s recent snowfalls repudiate global warming.

Howard Stern might be the last person you would think about when it comes to getting the climate change debate right, but on his December 15th Sirius Satellite Radio Show, Stern nailed the entire debate in under 5 minutes.

While many corporations are using the phrase ‘going green’ as a marketing tool, your non profit can actually help save the environment by changing simple aspects of your web site.

By combining satellite imagery with the power of cloud computing, Google is helping scientists identify where deforestation is occurring across the globe. According to a TechCrunch article, Google plans to release a prototype service free of charge that will use images from Google Earth to analyze changes in forestation across time.

Green is in, which means companies are doing everything in their power to try and convince consumers they are on the environmental bandwagon as well. Alternet outlined 12 of the most hilarious examples of companies trying to Green Wash their products.
